Oliver grew up in a small, picturesque place in Massachusetts. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and The Hallmark Institute of Photography after which he went off to live in New York City. He now lives in Northampton with his wife and daughter whom he loves very much. His interest in photography stems from a constant awareness of how beautiful this world and its inhabitants can be.

The reason Oliver became a wedding photographer is that he loves people. Seeing couples and their communities come together to share their love is the greatest perk of his job. And as a wedding photographer he gets to befriend and become an integral part of one of the best days of two peoples lives - on a regular basis. It's a dream job.
